How We Select the Thai Green Sapphire for This Engagement Ring

The moment we finished cutting and polishing this sapphire, we fell in love with it. A natural round-cut green sapphire is something we have always hoped to find. However, because of the natural inclusions and crystal shape of most rough sapphires, they are usually cut into oval shapes to preserve as much weight and beauty as possible.

This sapphire was different. Its natural crystal allowed us to create a beautiful round cut with excellent proportions and brilliance—an exceptionally rare opportunity. We immediately knew it deserved to become the centerpiece of a truly special engagement ring.

From there, we began working closely with our designer to create a setting that would showcase the gemstone's unique beauty. Once the design was finalized, our skilled craftsmen handcrafted the ring in our workshop in Chiang Mai.
